A good negative carrier provides a way to accurately align and hold your film. Mask the frame to your negative size to quickly position your print. And securely latch to the enlarger. Our carriers also look great while they do it.
Available in all standard film formats still manufactured today, as well as several rare formats that are hard to find. 126, mounted slides, and 16mm cine film for example. The largest size possible is 6×7 medium format as the C700 enlarger only supports negatives up to 6×7.
Use our carriers the same way you would use any negative carrier. Place your negative between the two halves using the film alignment pins and snap the halves together. Slide the carrier into the enlarger tray. And lower the lamphouse.
As the carrier slides onto the tray it latches onto two alignment pins for a secure and accurate connection. When the lamphouse lowers, it nestles into a recess in the carrier, ensuring no light leaks and accurate positioning.
