Return and Refund Policy

This policy applies to all purchases made through the untaken photos website.

1. Eligibility for Returns

You may return an item for a refund if it meets the following conditions:

  • The return is requested and initiated within 30 calendar days of the date you received the item.
  • The item is in its original condition. This means the item must be new, unopened, and in its original packaging, or unboxed but demonstrably unused (e.g., still with tags, protective films intact, and no signs of wear).
  • Any item that is used, damaged by the customer, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error will not be eligible for a refund.

2. Exchanges (Damaged in Transit)

If your item arrives damaged due to transit, we are happy to offer an exchange for the same item.

  1. Please contact us immediately at contact@untaken.photos within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide photos of the damage to the item and the packaging.
  3. We will issue a pre-paid return shipping label for the damaged item. Once the damaged item is received and inspected, we will promptly ship out a replacement at no cost to you.

3. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at contact@untaken.photos with your Order Number and the reason for the return.
  2. We will reply with instructions and the necessary return address.
  3. Securely package the item and mail it to the provided address.

4. Return Shipping and Handling Fees

  • Customer Responsibility: The customer is responsible for all costs associated with shipping the item back to us, including return shipping fees and any handling fees incurred. We strongly recommend using a shipping service with tracking and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
  • Original Shipping Costs: Original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

5. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approval: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.
  • Rejection: If the item is rejected (e.g., due to excessive use or damage not reported), we will notify you and can arrange to ship the item back to you at your expense.
